There are seasons when it feels like the dream is sleeping – untouched, unanswered, maybe even unrealistic. You look around and wonder if it’s still worth it. You’ve prayed, you’ve fasted, you’ve waited, and yet nothing seems to be moving. But let me remind you today: the dream is not dead. It’s simply waiting for its appointed time.
Think about Moses. His call didn’t come in a palace, it came in the wilderness, after 40 years of feeling like a failure. Joseph had dreams early in life, but betrayal, false accusations, and prison came before the palace. David was anointed king as a teenager but went back to tending sheep and dodging spears before the crown ever touched his head.
They didn’t stop because things didn’t happen immediately. And neither should you.
Yes, it’s tiring showing up when it looks like no one sees you. Yes, it’s hard to keep posting, writing, building, praying, or studying when the results feel small and slow. But hear this: delay is not denial. Dormancy is not death. Some seeds take longer to break through the soil.
So keep pushing. Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep developing. Even if the stage hasn’t opened yet, rehearse in the secret place. Even if the door hasn’t swung wide, stay faithful in the hallway.
God is not slow, He’s strategic.
And when the time is right, when you’re ready and the environment is ready, it will speak. That dream will testify, that promise will manifest, and everything you’ve sown in tears will bloom.
Just don’t faint.
Galatians 6:9 says it perfectly: “Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Hold on, your appointed time is coming.
