The Superwoman

Contrary to what some people believe, the Proverbs 31 woman isn’t a myth.

She is flesh and blood. She is superwoman and mother Theresa all rolled into one. She also looks like someone we can only look at from afar off and only pray to be like.

The reality is, we are already that woman, the superhero, perfect, fantastic woman who can do everything in the house and still look like a supermodel. Because we are “the perfect person” “the perfect fit” for our individual families and homes…. and we are already doing a fantastic job!!!

The Proverbs 31 woman isn’t perfect, she is herself and does her best for her family and loved ones…. that’s all it takes…. fear God and do your best for your family and the results will show and sing your praise!!!

Her husband (if she is married) may not appreciate her vocally every second but the fact that he is shining wherever he goes is a testament to her handiwork!!! That alone is a testimony.

Her children (if she has any, biological or not) can see her as a human being, approachable, fallible and yet, still someone to emulate who can lead them in a positive direction.

So today, relax, pat yourself on the back and tell yourself ” I’m doing a fantastic job and I’m proud of me.”

I pray today, that the power of the Holy Spirit will give you the insight required and a deep burning desire to discover and develop yourself into the best version of you that God has ordained you to be, running your own race, at your pace, taking the time to rest, to heal, to strive, to lead, to follow, to help and to comfort others as needed on your journey. 

As you spend quality time in God’s word, I pray that every aspect of your life will reflect Him and you will turn out to be the best version of you for His glory!!. 

So go on and enjoy your day today, you wonderful, fantastic, super woman, you!!!!
