and you're uncertain of the next step.

and the future is shrouded in doubt.

When family makes promises, then breaks them,
leaving your heart in pieces.
When friends turn their backs,
and you find yourself all alone.

When everyone else seems to thrive,
while your world feels frozen in time.
When others shine in vibrant color,
and your life is painted in shades of gray.

God says, My Child, do not fear,
Do not lose hope.

God says, My Child, hold on tight,
Be still, and let My peace surround you.
